I heard that old 38 Special song on my way home tonight and was reminded of something one of my friends said several years ago.
She told me that I should make every guy I date listen to Hold On Loosely before going out with me. I thought she was crazy at the time, but looking back on my past relationships, it turns out that maybe she knew me even better than I knew myself.
Hmm, maybe if I had actually listened to her I wouldn’t still be single at…. Well, let’s just say maybe I wouldn’t still be single. I mean, no one really cares how right she was in a measurement of years anyway right?
Drat. I hate it when people figure me out, it completely ruins my mysterious persona…..
